Several years ago, I inherited a home in a small town in Georgia.  My grandparents bought the house around 1920.  The house is much older than that and it used to be an old general store; various members of the family have lived in it over the years.  These relatives also NEVER THREW ANYTHING AWAY.
I've been paralyzed with indecision over what to do with all this stuff.  On the one hand, there are items with sentimental value; on the other, there's a lot of junk.  I started watching Horders on TV simply to make myself feel better.  Despite the piles of stuff, this house isn't anywhere near as awful as those shown on the show.
Recently I stumbled upon a blog which addressed the WASP hoarding disease.  This makes me feel better, too.  But nothing addresses the real problem -- which is that I have a house full of stuff and it needs to go.  I need to get busy.  I'm training my mind to consider the house a warehouse, rather than a home.  It's time to sell.
